Important Info

PLEASE TAKE CARE WHILE DRIVING!

The road to the field is a private, country road. We have taken steps to fix the worst areas. Despite this, there are still uneven ridges and some potholes. We find keeping to the right, on the way up, is the best approach.

A shooting school operates within a mile of the field. Although not excessively loud, it might be an issue for dogs hyper-sensitive to noise. Between the hours of 08:30-10:30 there shouldn't be any shooting.

There are working farms nearby with livestock and horses, and the road alongside the field is often used by a local trekking company.

The field may not be suited to all dogs. The fence is 6ft in some places and is NOT sunk into the ground, so any dogs who can jump very high, squeeze through gaps of less than 8 cm or dig deep may not be secure.

The field may be slippery and muddy during periods of adverse weather, so please wear appropriate footwear (not new white trainers!) and bring a towel for your dog.

There is a short walk of approximately 40m, from the parking area to the field.

Please use the designated parking area only. (Maximum 2 cars)

FOR THE SAFETY OF EVERYONE ALL DOGS MUST BE ON THE LEAD BETWEEN THE PARKING AREA AND FIELD.
